Russell "Rusty" Rhea opened up RV Service of VA in April of 1984. At its inception, it was mainly an on-site repair service catering to campgrounds and customers' homesites. At the time, it was the first such company of it's kind in the area.
When asked about those early days Rusty says, "There's no telling how many miles were logged in. I wore out several service vans during those days. It was apparent early on that a service facility was in order, and there were too many repair jobs needing shelter coming our way." Well today's 25,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility is a long ways from the single service van of those days. RV Service of Virginia now employs a full team of technicians and administrative professionals who carry on the mission of providing top-notch service to customers. All that said, as much as things change, they stay the same. Over 36 years later, you can still find Rusty working in the shop or making a service call. |
